The vitamin C is fully reacted with a sodium molecule, allowing it to be absorbed through both the glucose and sodium pathways. Additionally, the inclusion of GMS-Ribose (Glycine Methyl Sulfone-Ribose) complex opens up the pentose phosphate pathway as another route for absorption into the cell. Finally, the bioavailable organic sulphur in GMS is believed to enhance cell pliability and permeability, facilitating the flow of nutrients into the cell and waste products out.

The sodium molecule in Vitality C is elemental sodium. This differs from common table salt in that it does not contain chloride, the sodium form most associated with hypertension.

Like a fresh apple that is exposed to air directly after you bite into it and that bitten area turns brown, oxidation occurs with the Vitality C product as well.
